I haven't got over 2011 yet..still swimming in the river of memories..but I welcome 2012 with open heart. I always have mixed feeling when it comes to opening a new calendar chapter; feeling reluctant to bid farewell to the previous year but still anxious to discover what's in store for me once the new book opens.
Not wanting to let go 2011 easily, I've created a photo scrapbook full of stuffs I won't want to forget so that my kids can enjoy and cherish the memories.
I have to split the book into 2 sections as I added more and more pages and the book gets thicker and thicker. The first half is complete; but the second one have to wait as the local craft store runs out of the 12x12 plastic page protectors.. so I need to wait for the imported stocks to arrive.
And while waiting I've made myself a 2012 work planner by recycling an old leather diary cover. The inserts I printed from various websites that offer free calendar printables. Why didn't I think of that in the previous years? It's so easy to make and I can personalize it as much as I want, adding my favourite patterns papers for the page dividers and making use of beautiful stuffs Zanas sent me earlier.
Now that looks like I'm heading for a much more organized and joyful year already!
